HPP Solutions designs and builds HPP Protein Plants. HPP Solutions originated as a part of Héðinn hf., a prestigious Icelandic family company with over 100 years of heritage. Héðinn hf. began operating with conventional fishmeal factories in the year of 1936. Due to increased business and demand, HPP Solution became an independent corporation on January 1, 2022. Through majority ownership, HPP Solutions maintains its close ties to Héðinn hf.

For over a decade, we have invested greatly in Research and Development, which has led to the creation of HPP Protein Plant. The development involved redesigning the traditional fishmeal process with the aim to simplify, increase efficiency of energy use and increase additional yield.

Our vision is to create value out of waste that will help our clients to achieve their goal in reducing their carbon footprint and increase the value of each processed kilo along the way.
